Tusk is a furniture design project completed in London in 1989. Sponsored by Connolly Brothers Leather and Joseph Etudgi, it was a global furniture competition runner-up. The chair was designed with anthropology in mind, to guide the initial concept idea, harmonising the structure with the human form. The final design involved traditional construction and artisanal fabricators, providing a beautifully crafted piece.
